I made Stephen get the day off on Wednesday and we went to Disney, again! We had 2 free visits left and we didn’t want to waste them. We stopped by California Adventure and, thank God it was free because it was borrrrring.
We were there for 20 minutes and found nothing of interest. Lara was equally bored. We smashed back to the OG
Disney and had a great time.
We had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe
. The food was o.k. The best part was Lara’s reaction to the “storm” that comes along every 15-20 minutes. She was looking around, shrugging her shoulders, entranced by the Gorilla. She is hilarious. She also said a new word. She knows all of her body parts and said her 1st one today (along with pointing at it)…ear.
I wonder what is so special about ears. She could have said nose, toes, neck, tummy. She choose ear. It may be boring to you, endless hours of pondering and analyzing for me.
Here are a few pics:
The most interesting part of California Adventure: the grape vines.
Our Christmas picture. Coming to a mailbox near you…
Look at her face!!! We were on the Roger Rabbit ride and we could not see her reaction to it. So, Stephen used the camera to spy on her. She looks a little worried, unsure. She was grinning at the end of. I do not classify this as a favorite of hers.
Rainforest Cafe. Hey! I just realized she wore this same shirt on her last Disney visit! What can I say, we love the shirt. Thanks, Tia Susie.
She was afraid of this Gorilla. Actually, she’s been a bit of a scaredy-cat lately. More apprehensive and cautious. She’s growing up and realizing what danger is. How the years go by…
She was yelling “wwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeee” during the carousel ride.
Daddy & Daughter time. 🙂
Today is Thursday, the beginning of my work week. I work Thu-Sun so, it’s going to be a long one. We have nothing planned. We’re just waiting for Christmas!!! YEAH!!! 🙂
