Sunday Night

Nothing like Movie Night to wrap up a weekend. We weren’t the only ones to have the bright idea of going to the movies the Sunday before MLK Day. The line to get into Laemmle’s went all the way past Vroman’s. Glad to see people are still willing to pay $20 to see a good show. This theatre had ALL the good ones (Milk, Doubt, The Reader, Revolutionary Road, Slumdog Millionaire). We decided on The Reader. Lara was busy watching Lilo & Stitch at Abuelita’s house, which gave us 2 hours of couple time.

The movie was FANTASTIC. The only warning is that it IS NOT a feel-good type of movie. It’s no Slumdog Millionaire. But, you leave ready to discuss thought provoking topics which ultimately leave you confused. Then, we picked up Lara from my Mom’s and went back to our lives.

Next up, Revolutionary Road. 🙂

Looks like I might cross off #22 from my 101 list!
